My name is Heather Pedraza. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Chemistry, a minor in Physics and a Secondary Science Composite Teaching Certificate.
I am currently working on my Masters in Educational Technology and Educational Leadership at Texas State University. I have taught science since 1999 and I have been at RRHS for about a decade. Physics can be a lot of fun but it is also a lot of work. There is as much new vocabulary in physics as there is in most language classes. There is also a lot of math. The good thing is that it is "real" math and makes more since. If students stay on top of things and come in for help when they need it, physics isn't as hard as people think. |
