When doing labs, physics students will often find themselves having to graph. Here are some guidelines for you to follow:
1. The title says it all: Height vs Time of Dropping a Ball -The variable on the Y axis is usually written first 2. Both axis are labeled with the variable and unit: time (seconds) 3. The axis have enough marks labeled to be able to read but not so many that you cannot clearly see each one. The range on each axis should cover the data range closely enough that the data takes up the entire graph. 4. Data points are neat and easy to see. 5. There is a trend line drawn through the data.
